Barana Simmentals 2019 Sale Report

Barana Simmentals 19th annual on-property bull sale was held Thursday July 4, 2019.

On offer at our sale this year were 33 bulls, predominantly polled, 10 registered Simmental heifers and 2 purebred commercial heifer lots.

We are proud of the consistent, high quality offering we present at our sales. This sale outcome is an expected reflection of ongoing severe drought conditions which have affected our clients nationally.

This year Barana sold 4 bulls to $6000, lots 1, 5, 8, and 13. We sold 14 out of 27 Simmental bulls and 5 of 10 registered Simmental heifers. Both commercial Simmental heifer lots sold to a top of $1800. The Stimpson Family purchased Lot 38, the top priced heifer this year for $3000.

The remaining bulls are available for private sale; Lots: 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 33, 34, 36. Free cartage offers still apply for a limited time on bull lots. All bulls vaccinated against BVDV with Pestigard®, against Leptospirosis with Ultravac® 7in1 and Vibriosis with Vibrovax®. Bulls also vaccinated against 3 day sickness and tick fever

(3 germ blood).

Lots 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, Simmental heifers are also still available.
